A Semaine Fédérale Internationale de Cyclotourisme What is it?
The Semaine Fédérale Internationale de Cyclotourisme (SFIC) is organized by the Fédération Française de Cyclotourisme and entrusted to one or more structures (Club, Comité Départemental, Comité Régional) affiliated to the Federation.
A federal week is a federative event organized (generally) during the 1st week of August, each year in a different town, offering different cycling circuits (road, mountain bike, gravel) each day of the week to discover the department and its region.
Key figures:
- 8,000 to 10,000 participants from all over France and more than 21 foreign countries, including:
- more than 3,500 women,
- a large number of families with wives and children, - A federal village with over 100 federal exhibitors, bikes and regional products.
- Nearly 1,500 volunteers, including:
- at least 500 volunteers in the host town,
- around 1,000 volunteers at all the tour's hospitality points.
